Mr. Paramjit Pabby is the Group Chief Human Resources Officer of the Dangote Group. Mr. Pabby holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Madras Christian College (Madras University) and an MBA from Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, India.

He has extensive experience in Human Resource Relations and has worked for several world-class organisations before he joined the Dangote Group in 2009. He was previously Chief People Officer, ACC Ltd-the largest cement company in India-between 2005 and 2009.

He was also Director, Human Resources, PIAGGIO Group, a multinational automobile company (2000-2005); General Manager, Human Resources, Tetrapak India Limited, a Swedish multinational and world leader in liquid food packaging systems (1995-2000); Joint General Manager, Human Resources, Essar Group of Companies, Mumbai (1992-1995) and Personnel Officer to Corporate Personnel Manager, ACC Ltd. (1976-1992).

Mr. Pabby, who is currently driving an initiative that would help develop an Academy for Learning and Development for creating future pipeline of talent for the Dangote Group, was instrumental in leading major change management initiatives across the organisation to build a culture of openness, responsiveness and accountability with continued focus on business results.

He has attended a number of courses including Senior Management Programme at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland (2006); Strategic Talent Management and Development Programme at London Business School (2007) and Senior Leadership Programme at IMD, Lausanne, Switzerland (2008).

He is a member of several professional bodies including National Institute of Human Resource Development (NHRD) and the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM). He likes reading, traveling, music and sports.
